The Wapiti Western Wildlife Park is a 10-acre exhibit nestled within the larger Park on the south rim. Featuring a unique combination of native Colorado wildlife in their natural habitat, including the white American Bison, a herd of Rocky Mountain Elk and the seldom-seen but unforgettable icons of the mountains, the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, it's a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the entire family to see these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. And with our successful breeding program, you never know what new baby animals you'll see camouflaged against the background of wildflowers and fragrant evergreens.
